Media Center Rules

8:15 - 11:30

(Students may come to the media center, with a detailed note, for quiet reading, research or computer usage in the morning from 8:15 – 11:00.
Rules of the Media Center
  • Students are not allowed in the work room.
  • Please do not bring your class into the media center when there are media classes in progress
  • Teachers must stay with their classes during library times. 
  • Circulation Policy
  1. Circulation Policy – Teachers may keep books for up to thirty days.
However, please be considerate of others.  If you have content material that you are finished using please return them to the media center as soon as possible so others may use them.  In addition, if you are checking out books on a content topic being taught by all grade level teacher, please don’t monopolize the materials leave some for others who also may want to check out books on this topic. 
Students are allowed to check out 1 book at a time.  They are allowed to keep the book for 14 days. 
Students with lost or damaged book(s) will not be able to check out another book until their book(s) is paid for. Also, report cards can be held at the end of the year for a outstanding fine in the media center.
